あの。。何これ？？ 失礼だが、誰か日本語を分かることできる？ 今、おれは英語ができんだそうです。

(ooc: yes, all this nonsense means Neil's been hit with the Lost in Translation curse. He can speak conversational Japanese on a normal day, but right now that's all he can do. If any one else speaks, yeah, he thinks he's some sort of cool tough guy which is why he talks like this. Also if his grammar is a little messy, it's because it's his (and my) second language. He (we) is (are) doing his (our) best.]

Yup! And to be fair, even native speakers struggle with kanji sometimes. 'cause it's ridic.
Its because symbols can mean multiple things. And you have to draw them a specific way...
And there are just so MANY of them. I've studied so hard and grade school kids still know more. orz
D: I will keep studying. I like this language, I don't suck at it like I did with Spanish!
Yeah, I hope it doesn't happen to you. This is the second time it's happened to me, but the first time I've switched bodies with somebody. It's freaky, to say the least.
Omg me too, I totally suck at Spanish but Japanese makes sense to me. Good luck!
