[Neil is locked in a sort of stand-off with Little Neil, resident cat and his namesake. Not that they are standing-- both are crouched on their stomachs on the ground with matching vacant expressions. This goes on for some time. Those who continue watching the feed, however, will eventually see Neil rise to his arms and knees and look pointedly at the screen, and then back at Little Neil, as though imploring those watching to do something about the situation at hand.

Finally, Little Neil raises a paw and swipes at Neil's face. Neil recoils for a split second, and then the two chase each other off screen.]

[A game plan is probably a good thing. First things first.]

Okay, look around you. Can you see the other cat?

[Neil stalks over to the sofa and presses one hand against it to indicate the other's whereabouts.]

[She watches him and nods.] So he's not all stalking you waiting for another pounce and swipe with the claws. Right?

[Neil isn't sure. He lowers his head to the ground to peer under the sofa-- and no sooner does he do so than a small paw lashes out, and Neil yelps and scrambles back just in time to avoid another set of matching cuts.]

Neil!!

[Those words are squeaked out and Dawn is up and grabbing her sweater before hurrying outside. Once outside, she stands there unsure of where to go.]

Uhm... where do I find you?

[Neil looks around frantically, then dashes off and comes back with a letter in his mouth addressed to his apartment.]

I'm on my way, okay?

[And she's off, at Dawn speed which really isn't anything special. But ten minutes later, she's tapping lightly on the door.]

[Her knock is answered by a loud meow. But, y'know, no opposable thumbs, so he can't let her in no matter how much he wants to be a good host.]
